Wings Acrylic Painting
Acrylic on watercolour paper.
The main subject is the girl with the most magnificent wings I could think of.
I once saw a bird in the rain outside my shop in a similar position. I figured it was somehow injured; it tried to cover its head with its wings and tolerated the constant drips of rain. I felt sad and imagined it was waiting for something it had lost.
In my painting this is corrected by the rain clouds retreating and the safe return of a loved one.

I’m almost gobsmacked for the first time in my life… So I’ll keep it sweet. This is most definitely the most profound painting I’ve ever seen. It conjures up so much emotion within me that finding the words to describe it would be embarrassingly inadequate. Fantastic work to the artist. Thats it!
